Glamping Suite 2
This place is really cool. I arrived when it was very dark and the host talked me through where to go and stayed with me on the phone until I parked. There are hammocks, picnic tables, & firepits to use. You can see & hear all the great farm animals & birds during the day and beautiful stars at night. The bed was super comfy. The only thing Id say to note is that the yurts are shorter than some yurts Ive stayed in so if you are particularly tall you may have to hunch around in some parts of the yurt. But really, outside is the best anyway. The location is close to a good coffee shop and other chain stores.

Macey and her husband have absolutely perfected this marsh getaway! Communication was great & prompt, hosts met us upon arrival to show us our tents and give us a lay of the land including their gorgeous horse, Legend!
We had a fabulous time under the stars, and cooking dinner on the community fire pit, and just enjoying being on the marsh. Could not have planned a better weekend trip! We will certainly be back!

Happy Camper primitive campsite 1
Pretty Little spot on the marsh near Beaufort. Friendly gated farm animals. Great place to enjoy the cool winter season in South Carolina. Had a nice overnight with my son after watching a movie at the local drive-in theater.

Peace and beautiful sights
This was a very pleasant and peaceful experience, my wife and I loved the space and slept so soundly. Can’t wait to come back some time soon in the late fall.

Sweet Serenity
This was the most amazing Hipcamp experience I have ever booked! It’s truly an incredible place, and I will definitely come back. My dog and I saw the most beautiful sunset and sunrise. We biked on the island and we saw the most serene and breathtaking views. The wildlife seem calm and I got some amazing photos. It’s so remote and quiet and it truly healed parts of my soul, just sitting still in the morning on the observation deck. I ready my devotional and watched the sun come up. Complete peace. I experienced full joy here! I also visited the Sunny Summer Cafe and had an amazing experience! Please book if you are looking here. You will have an amazing experience! It’s worth every penny!

Glamping Suite 1
This was our first time hipcamping and it was perfect! All we wanted was a complete disconnect, nature, and a comfortable bed to sleep on and Macey’s Glamping Suite 1 had the most comfortable bed ever! The views were amazing…sunsets, moonrises, sunrises..all of it. Macey and her husband are extremely kind and thoughtful. Not only was she super hospitable, but we arrived with a flat tire on our kayak trailer and they insisted on removing the tire for us, diagnosing it with a leaky valve stem, and took it into town and had it repaired for us. We didn’t have to worry about it at all! That was above and beyond comfort care!
The tent was clean, super cute, and equipped with a burner and tea kettle, coffee and water. They have lots of wildlife on the island…heard mice rummaging around at night and plenty of deer. They own horses and cows and goats and chickens. Primitive Glamping at its finest! Soon, they will have a finished full restroom complete with shower. We really took advantage of the yoga deck and played cards, drank coffee, and grounded ourselves back to Earth. This is a spot I would feel safe going alone.
