How can I get to Fire Island?

You can take the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) to Bay Shore, Patchogue, and Sayville to catch ferries to Fire Island. Water taxis and private boats are also options to get to the island. The island is car-free, but water taxis are available to take you around the island. Bike rentals are also common.
