Saskadena Six, formerly known as Suicide Six, is one of the oldest ski resorts in the United States, located in South Pomfret, Vermont. The resort is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and offers a variety of terrain suitable for all skill levels, including beginner slopes. While it may not boast the highest snowfall amounts, it has reliable snowmaking capabilities to ensure a consistent skiing experience throughout the season, which typically runs from December to March. The terrain includes 24 trails serviced by three lifts, including a chairlift, T-bar, and J-bar. There are no designated terrain parks, backcountry areas, or night skiing options, but the resort does offer a cozy, traditional New England skiing experience with picturesque views of the surrounding landscape. In addition to skiing, Saskadena Six provides other winter activities such as ice skating and snowshoeing, making it an enjoyable destination for non-skiers as well.
