Powder Mountain is a renowned ski resort located in Eden, Utah, known for its impressive snowfall, typically receiving over 500 inches annually, which contributes to excellent skiing conditions throughout the season that usually runs from late November to early April. The resort boasts a vast terrain with over 8,464 acres, making it one of the largest ski areas in the United States. It is beginner-friendly with plenty of gentle slopes, but also offers a variety of terrain for more experienced skiers, including terrain parks, backcountry areas, and some cross country trails. While there is no night skiing available at Powder Mountain, the resort is equipped with a lift system that includes two high-speed quads among its nine lifts. The views from the resort are stunning, with vistas of the surrounding Wasatch Mountains. Powder Mountain is considered family-friendly and offers other winter activities such as snowshoeing trails. However, it does not have ice skating, snow tubing, snowmobiling, or sledding areas within the resort.
