Lost Trail Ski Area is a family-friendly ski resort located on the Montana-Idaho border, known for its consistent snowfall and excellent powder conditions. The skiing season typically runs from early December to early April, depending on snow conditions. The resort boasts a variety of terrain, making it suitable for all skill levels, including beginners. While it does not have a dedicated terrain park, it offers a mix of groomed runs and tree skiing areas. Backcountry enthusiasts can find some accessible areas nearby, and there are cross-country trails for those interested in Nordic skiing. Lost Trail does not offer night skiing. The lift system includes two chair lifts and three surface tows. The views from the resort are picturesque, featuring the beautiful Bitterroot Range. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, the resort offers snowshoeing trails, providing a peaceful way to explore the winter landscape. However, there are no ice skating, snow tubing, snowmobiling, or sledding areas within the resort.
