Bogus Basin is a non-profit ski area located near Boise, Idaho. It offers a diverse range of terrain suitable for all skill levels, including beginner-friendly slopes and more challenging runs for advanced skiers. The resort is known for its reliable snowfall, with the skiing season usually running from late November to early April. With over 2,600 acres of skiable terrain, seven chairlifts, and a vertical drop of 1,800 feet, there's plenty of ground to cover. The resort also features two terrain parks, night skiing areas, and 37 km of groomed Nordic trails for cross-country skiing. The views from the mountain are stunning, with vistas of the Boise National Forest and the Treasure Valley. Bogus Basin is very family-friendly, offering ski and snowboard lessons, and a range of other winter activities such as snow tubing, snowshoeing trails, and a winter mountain coaster. While there are no ice skating, snowmobiling, or sledding areas at the resort, the variety of other activities ensures there's something for everyone.
