Learn more about this land: Relax under the stars in one of our two canvas tents here on the farm. Includes a spacious tent on a platform with queen bed, and a fire ring. A 3 minute walk to the main house for port a john and sink. Enjoy the farm by visiting the animals (pigs, chickens, ducks), checking out the veggie fields, or hiking in the woods). We are just a half hour from Pittsburgh, so you can take a jaunt into the city too!

The Wren's Nest - A-Frame Cabin

Great Local Getaway

We loved spending time at the Wren's Nest! It was cozy and cute, and just what we expected from the listing. Communication from Jen was very clear. We enjoyed visiting the animals on her farm and the best part is that it is close to our house, making it an easy getaway from the city!

We stayed one night while driving past Pittsburgh and it was so lovely to wake up in a beautiful and private field (with a dog that greeted us good morning). The bed was comfortable and the tent was easy to find with instructions. It was only a short stop on our trip but we wished we could have spent more time there.

Perfect weekend in Pittsburgh.

Absolutely perfect spot. Will be back again. You must try some of the fresh meat, produce, and other items made on the farm.

Peaceful camp overlooking a meadow

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the farm, and this spot was private and peaceful and lovely. It was a very hot, sunny afternoon, so we were glad we brought our easy-up for shade. At night the fireflies were magical! The bed in the tent was quite comfortable. We will be coming back!

Overall, we had a great experience. The site was very nice along with the fire pit and seating areas. Due to the time of year and lack of shade, it was very hot during the day. A tree near the tent to provide some relief from the hot sun would be nice during the summer months. We would definitely consider coming back during a cooler month like spring or fall.

Our one night at the East Tent site was fantastic. It was so peaceful, secluded, and comfortable. Our host was so nice, and my son went on a tour of the property with their daughter. They came back with vegetables and flowers for us to keep! A truly wonderful property and we can't wait to come back for a longer stay.
