Our beautiful urban location near highway 410 and Bishop's University, directly on St. Francis river, makes it an exceptional starting point for cyclists who want to enjoy the Route Verte path; fish, canoe, kayak or tube the river or simply explore all Sherbrooke has to offer.  Our birdlife is amazing and is a recognized birding location by provincial authorities, especially for swallows and chimney swifts. A fire pit will be made available, in respect of all fire bans, with firewood available for purchase. In 1910, Agriculture Canada set up a research centre that operated until the 1950's. The property was sold to a family that emigrated to Canada from Europe, to set begin a new life post WW2. In 2015, I purchased the property to return it to its roots - regenerative farming, training, hospitality, poverty relief and healthy living. Be our guest at The Farmhouse, a vibrant small-scale farm with a heart for the earth and its people. (https://www.thefarmhouse.store) Seasonal, fresh farm produce will be available for purchase as well as guided garden tours.   Located within 5 minute walking distance to Lennoxville (Bishop's University).  It's perfect for campers who like to experience "urban" camping. Some road noise. If you are concerned about the weather, the site provides the use of a 8 sleeper tent trailer for your convenience. During the day, you are welcome to relax in it too. Portable water will be provided, but bring your own drinks if possible. As a bonus treat, you are welcome to sleep in a very HIP camper, a 1980 retro dodge camper van.

Our cozy A-frame cabin and peaceful nature campsites are located in a beautiful mixed woodland next to the Missisquoi River, which is great for swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding in the summer, and cross-country or backcountry skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. The property is fairly steep, so be prepared for a good 5–10 minute workout as you hike up to the cabin. We have a stunning view of Mount Sutton, located about a 25-minute drive from the property. Owl's Head and Jay Peak are each about the same distance away.

Turkeys, owls, deer, rare birds and many more can all be seen during your stay. Enjoy lots of privacy with nature all around you. This is the perfect spot for tenters and those with small travel trailers. Pets on leash welcome. Campfires are permitted within local regulations. The trail system is perfect for easy hikes and short excursions to the creek, or nearby field. Boat rentals are available in Fitchbay, 5 min away. Bike and hiking trails as well as many more activities in the vicinity. *****Please note there are no facilities on site! Our policies clearly outline, one vehicle, and 4 persons. Do not show up with 2 or more vehicles with half a dozen people****** Please leave the site EXACTLY the way you left it. Cozy, well-equipped and built with warmth and lots of love, the tiny house was exactly what we were looking for to welcome the new year :-) Alain was kind, welcoming and very responsive; he made sure we have everything we needed, and went above and beyond to find a solution for a little technical issue related to the wood stove (thank you Alain!). We spent a peaceful down time, recharged, and were even able to enjoy snowshoeing in the beautiful vast terrain. What a treat! The gated food forest was so pretty and clean. We loved the soft grass, huge fire pit, and the two large umbrellas and tables. Our dog was able to roam around and play safely. The location is beautiful with rolling hills and farms. Nicole and Robert were very friendly and kind. They recommended some great hikes and festivals going on in the area. We would love to come back in the Fall to see all the colours.

It's a lovely little farm, dog friendly and the volunteer host is so kind and thoughtful! She picked fresh leaves that have a calming property and gave me a tour of the farm - I saw the chicken coup "she lovingly calls the ladies" and the garden in front is incredible! Amazing river front but I did not have the time to take a dip. Chris is very responsive and allowed me to extend my stay last minute! It's a slice of heaven that is close to everything. Lennoxville lovely village is walking distance!
