Discover the most magical spots to pitch your tent or park your rig on your next Sleeper State Park adventure.
Discover Sleeper State Park's natural beauty and outdoor fun.
If you’re longing to rest your bone on the dock of the bay, Sleeper State Park is your next destination. Known for unrivaled sunrises and sunsets on the Saginaw Bay of Lake Huron, you will feel the camp community vibes with all of the R&R you need. The park grants convenient access to nearby epic dune forests. Seven hundred and twenty three acres of wetlands, white sand beaches and forest make this environment a perfect place to explore nature at its finest. If you want the best of both worlds, venture a short five miles outside of the park and enjoy Caseville, a town full of entertaining special events as well as access to kayak and canoe rentals. If you want to “Sleep” under the moon, snag a site at the modern campground and pitch a tent or rent a mini-cabin. If you can’t live without the web, don’t fret. Wi-Fi access is available to campers. You probably won’t need it though, flower child.
The ideal time to visit Sleeper State Park is during the summer months, when the weather is warm and the lake's waters invite swimmers and boaters alike. However, autumn also offers a spectacular display of fall foliage. Winters can be harsh, with heavy snowfall limiting access to certain areas of the park.
