The park is covered with second-growth forest, offering shelter and privacy to campers. There is protected anchorage at the cove, so bring along your boat. The icy waters of Prince William Sound are protected from the rough seas by islands, and bordered by mountains and glaciers. Yep, it gets pretty chilly, but the natural barriers provide calm waters perfect for kayaking.
