You will appreciate the peace and quiet of this little cabin on Rock Creek, situated on 11 acres of forest in Williams Oregon. The only sounds you'll hear are the birds in the trees and the flowing creek water. Enjoy sitting on the deck overlooking the creek or hiking on the property. A bridge crosses Rock Creek where you can hike to the confluence of Rock Creek and East Fork Williams Creek. Our garden hot tub is a welcome place to soak and enjoy the stars at night. Our cabin has a kitchenette with a small fridge, sink, 2-burner gas stovetop, teapot crockpot, toaster, and 2-cup coffee maker, plus a few dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, enough for simple meal preparation. Coffee, tea, sugar, and creamer are provided, and we usually provide fresh eggs from our happy hens when available. The sitting area has a small woodstove which is the perfect size for this tiny cabin. A little wood can be provided, and we provide newspaper and fire starters. There is an abundance of twigs around the property great for getting a fire going. The stove holds 16" x 3" split logs, if you have some to bring. There are two smaller stuffed chairs, and two bar stools at a counter/bar with views of the creek. The bathroom has a shower, sink, and portable camper toilet, and towels and toiletries are provided. There is hot and cold running water, although the 3-gallon hot water heater limits showers to less than 5 minutes. A nice wide sturdy ladder leads up to the loft upstairs which has a new 8" full memory foam with fresh linens. The loft is low and cozy which allows the camper to sit up on the bed but not stand up. A compost toilet is about 100 yards away, and we encourage the use of this toilet as much as possible, and use the little camper portable toilet for midnight emergencies. Bring your flashlights to find the compost toilet as well as the hot tub as the property is very dark. Our WiFi barely reaches the cabin but texting can be accomplished at the compost toilet or at the garden gate. The password is listed in the binder on the table. Most folks enjoy getting away from the internet for a while. Some games and puzzles are provided. This rustic octagonal cabin nestled in a forest overlooks Rock Creek. Cross the bridge and walk to East Fork Williams Creek. Cabin has a loft containing a comfy 8" thick memory foam standard (full) mattress with fresh bed linens. Below there is a sitting area with wood stove and two small padded chairs. Kitchenette has coffee pot, toaster, fridge, sink, and 2-burner propane stove. Coffee and tea provided. Bathroom has shower, sink, and camp toilet, with towels and toiletries provided. A compost toilet is 100 yards away.. Hot tub in garden also overlooks Rock Creek and a picnic table holds clean towels.

Creekside Cabin
Great place for relaxing and exploring. The host is very friendly, helpful and very responsive. It has been a pleasure staying in this quaint cabin. Easy to find, easy to check in and have everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Shop in Grants Pass 30 minutes away or explore the small town of Jacksonville . Definitely recommend and definitely will stay again.

Very nice property and had a good time relaxing at the cabin. Enjoyed the hot tub one night to and it's perfect for stargazing. Saw an owl on the property and a deer in the early morning. Very rustic cabin. Had to clean a little bit when we arrived but nothing unreasonable (swept and wiped counters)

Off-grid retreat perfection.
I had a wonderful and peaceful time buried in the woods next to a bubbling creek. The cabin was the definition of quaint and had everything I needed in it. I especially loved the hot tub! Thanks Karen, I can’t wait to come out again!

This place has a beautiful backdrop very well-maintained. Restrooms are a restroom is very clean, there’s also a little market for any visiting campers to get firewood quick munchies drinks. My only complaint unfortunately would be that it is literally right next to the highway. Doesn’t feel very private, it is absolutely serene gorgeous but no privacy

My favorite of ALL time!
This was by far the most beautiful surroundings of any hipcamp I have stayed at. The cabin was perfect for me. I used the propane stove every day I was there. The bed in the loft was comfy and clean. I did not need the wood-burning stove, but firewood was provided. Karen supplied us half a dozen eggs from her chickens and some flour to fry up the oyster mushrooms we discovered while exploring. The babbling creek right outside the cabin was my favorite feature of all. The hot tub isn't fancy, but it was perfect late in the evening after a long, adventurous day of hiking. The view of the clear sky, brightly shining stars, and the moon were breathtaking and perfect to wind down the day as the warm water bubbled around me. The garden was full of fruit trees. The apples were so delicious. We hiked the national forest and went to the top of the mountain to overlook the gorgeous overview. Freya, the owner's dog, was also a bright spot for me. She went on a walk with me one morning and kept me company. I have always wanted a dog just like her. The trip was beyond anything I could have imagined. The host was kind and warm. She brewed a cup of hot tea for me as we sat and chatted for a bit. I am grateful for the opportunity to experience heaven on earth for a week. I will undoubtedly be back. Disconnecting from society and reconnecting with the earth is precisely what I needed.

Wonderful and private retreat
We loved our stay here. Karen was super friendly and helpful, giving us a tour of the cabin and grounds when we arrived (she was available if needed, but left us in solitude to enjoy ourselves). The hot tub was a delightful touch and the cabin, creek, and surroundings made for a private and peaceful retreat. There is a deck out back overlooking the creek and various trails to explore—and even some fig and peach trees from which to grab a juicy snack. We were sad to go but are planning a trip back sometime soon!
