Our property has been in business in one way or another for over 70 years. The stick built cabins are pre 1950's and no one really knows for sure how old they truly are. We are located on Fort Creek named after the creek that ran through Fort Klamath. Fort Creek is a beautiful 30' wide meandering creek that runs the length of the property north to south. We offer free use of our Old Town Canoes to paddle along it's extent and on up creek to a beaver damn. There is a fun hiking trail that runs over two bridges that span the creek, one covered and one floating. We also offer free catch and release fishing, there are Rainbow and Brown Trout in our waters. Fort Klamath is the birthplace and home of the US Army 1st Cavalry and our property is located on the the Forts Southeastern grounds. We are 9 miles from the southern border of the National Park and 23 miles from the southern Rim and Rim Village. Please note: We do allow pets in some of our sites for $10 per night. If you plan to bring a pet, please add the pet fee which is listed under "Extras" during the booking process.

Crater Lake Resort - Full RV 15

The spaces located next to the river are lovely and size of spaces is typical of an RV park. Obviously would love if there was a little more space between spots but it wasn’t terrible. The bathroom & laundry are nice and clean. There was also some nice areas for a little stroll. We had very pleasant interactions at the little shop.

Crater Lake Resort - RV 23

Great campground. Certainly one of the nicest we’ve stayed in during our cross country trip. Beautiful location. Nice trails that go around the creek for an afternoon walk. The main road it is on is not too busy, so it was quiet as well. Everything was very clean and well organized as well.

Quiet and peaceful by the Riverside

Tent campsite number six. Beautiful riverside campsite. Bathrooms are very clean and hot water is aplenty! I would definitely stay again.

Crater Lake Resort - Tent Site 1

Clean and hospitable!!

Crater Lake Resort was awesome! It was right off the highway so it was easy to find. The camp store was well stocked and had a few souvenirs. We had a great time chatting with the staff at the camp store - so nice and very helpful. Bathrooms were clean. There’s a stream behind the camp that you can take canoes out of for free! We met some very nice people there and overall it was a great experience.

Glamping Tent 3

We were actually placed in tent #2. The outside zipper was broken and the bottom of the tent ripped. the screen zipper worked so that was ok. it was cute and clean inside. the bathrooms are quite a distance from the tent. I would just let people know that. it has a pretty view of the creek and a nice walk around the area. Not too private, because the little trailer that they rent is right next to the tent.

Crater Lake Resort - Tent Site

Nice spot!

So cute! It’s right by the road, which you’d think would be disturbing throughout the night or kick up a bunch of road dust, but it was super peaceful all night. Some cows across the road that like to holler, which was mostly just very funny. The bathroom is the single nicest bathroom I’ve ever had at a campsite, and even some airbnbs. We didn’t get anything at the convenience store, but I’d imagine it’s super helpful for grabbing that one last thing you forgot at home.
