Located in the awesome expanse of Zaleski State Forest, Atkinson Ridge Hunters Camp offers rustic camping options for those looking to get some game in the area. Specific parts of the forest are maintained for local grouse, squirrel and wild turkey populations in order to keep conditions optimal for reproduction. You do need to be a licensed hunter to camp there, but that only costs $18 to get a hunting permit and the money goes toward Ohio conservation projects, so its an easy thing to do.
