This tiny (about 150 sq feet) eco cabin is nestled in the hills and hollows of Meigs County Ohio on 6.6 secluded acres of mostly wooded land on a private, dead end gravel lane. A superb place to bird watch, identify native plants and trees, and stargaze as the cabin is located in one of the darkest places in Ohio. Also on the property is a 16x20 camping/activities platform for your enjoyment. Our doors opened in September 2020 with the intention of creating a simple, yet functional and secluded space for individuals, couples, and groups to come together and enjoy the serenity of nature's beauty. We are one of Ohio's only openly clothing optional and naturist friendly rentals. You of course do not have to be naked during your visit, but it is a safe place to explore the naturist lifestyle if you've ever been curious! We're located about 25 minutes south of Athens, Ohio and are within 30 minutes of some of the best hiking in the state. Retreat into nature with us and return to your inner peace and wellness. WiFi free zone with 1-2 bars of reception, typically. Ohio's only openly clothing optional and naturist friendly rentals. Pet Friendly!  Dogs under 65 lbs acceptable as well as cats and other animals. Please provide pet info in request.  Maximum 2 pets, please be honest about this and do not bring more animals into this space. Guest parking is at the front gate of the property. Be prepared to walk and carry all of your belongings up a steep hill that is about 50 yards long. To access the queen bed in the loft, you will need to be able to assemble and hang up a ~40 wooden ladder to the loft. There is no outdoor lighting, so if you plan to arrive after dark, bring a bright flashlight or head lamp as you will not be able to see anything. The cabin is stocked with spices, teas, coffees, hot chocolate, and all you need to cook meals. There is a microwave, toaster oven, crockpot, and propane grill. Please DO NOT flush toilet paper. Hummingbird Hollow Tiny Eco Cabin
Selah's land is secluded and quiet. The small cabin is nestled in lush woods with no visible neighbors. Great for a one-person quiet respite or for small groups (i.e., small group of close friends or family). There is space to set up tents to expand sleeping options for a group. I stayed here with some close friends for a reunion of sorts and it was a great secluded experience. Definitely recommend!

Great stay!
This is a great place to stay if you want to be surrounded by nature but also want just about all of the comforts that one could reasonably fit in a tiny house. As the owner indicates, the cell reception is not great, but most of the time I had a bar or two on my AT&T phone. Indoor plumbing, a futon & double bed, and a very well-stocked kitchen--that was more than enough to allow me to enjoy the surrounding woods with comfort. While the drives to hiking location are 30-45 minutes, there are lots to choose from. All around, a great location made available by a very welcoming owner.

Looking for dates to return!
Hummingbird Hollow is fantastic. Easy to get to, completely stocked with well more than essentials, quiet, just remote enough, and clean. Property has paths perfect for walking meditation and longer, great hiking close by car. Kristen is responsive and helpful, though I didn’t have any needs unmet, and I had no problems during the stay.

We really loved Hummingbird Hollow!
We had a wonderful restorative stay at the Hummingbird Hollow cabin! So cute and cozy, we enjoyed the fire pit, books, cozy loft area, & porch! Everything was thoughtfully curated and arranged. It was a bit of a walk from the car (parking at bottom of driveway) so I’d probably pack lighter next time 😆 We stayed 3 nights but wished we stayed longer. We’d definitely recommend staying here!
