Amazing!
Beautiful place to stay! Feels like you’re in the middle of no where but also close enough to things if you need it. We intentionally picked a chilly time to go camping and the heater inside the tent works wonders!! It literally heated up the entire place in minutes. There’s also a cute neighbor dog who may come and greet you in the morning/afternoons so that was a bonus! Thank you Shane and Nathan!

Charming Getaway
I had such a lovely time in this sweet spot! The tent was cozy, the surrounding landscape was beautiful (great color on the trees!), and the hosts were very helpful. I’m looking forward to visiting again in the future. I’m extra appreciate of the host who helped me get a new battery for my car fob when I had trouble setting out for home. They take great pride in this place and it shows. Thanks again!

Place for the Royal!
We enjoyed how the place was set up. The parking lot is very accessible, the area is so clean and the grass was cut. One aspect of the place that I enjoyed is how the tent was set on a wooden platform; we had rain in the evening and we never got wet. The bed is made for the royal family! I would definitely recommend the place!

Easy camping in Amish country
I felt very welcomed at this site by Shane, who lives on the property, and his sweet little dog Chachi. The tent was in great shape, clean, and convenient to get to from the parking spot which is only about 100 feet away, next to a very clean porta potty. The closest town is only about 7 minutes away and offers the basic necessities should you need them in a pinch. I'm a solo female traveler and felt very safe and comfortable staying on site and traveling around the area. When it rained at night it sounded great on the tent and I slept like a baby.
Things to know before you book and go: The reception is very spotty in the general area (at least, it was for me -- I have T-Mobile). Be sure to download maps if you plan to use something like Google to get around. The tent is right next to the newer bell tent; might not feel private for some, but this would especially make a great spot for a couple of families or other groups that would like to camp near each other but not under the same tent. It's also next to a gravel road, so you will hear vehicles come and go once in a while throughout the day. The road access makes the site super convenient, though. I'm on a strict diet because of my autoimmune condition so I did not get to enjoy much restaurant food in the area, but there were many great options for most, especially Amish fare ...enjoy a donut or soft pretzel for me!
