Croaky Oak
Even though we were unable to stay at Creeky Oak due to weather from hurricane Helene, we were impressed with Mary’s thoughtfulness and communication. The sight looked amazing! We will definitely try it out again when the weather is better. It’s a dog’s (and human’s) dream nature escape.

We had a a wonderful experience at croaky oak! The directions to the site were accurate and clear. Mary was kind and helpful at our arrival, welcoming us and directing us to our site. The site is beautiful and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed watching and listening to the frogs by the pond, and our pup enjoyed a nice dip! It was a refreshing and peaceful experience!

Croaky Oak
Very private, beautiful and peaceful. Our doggie enjoyed herself and had the time of her life. Mary is an excellent host and has a hidden gem. We would definitely go back.

Croaky Oak
Quiet private get away that has a remote feel. Large oak tree for shade, clean port-a-pot, nice picnic table and fire ring. Property is well maintained and offers a nice small pond for fishing or maybe a float. Owner did a meet and greet and was never seen again, you truly feel as if you have exclusive use of this property.

Croaky Oak
Lovely spot for tent camping! We were able to take our dog who can be a bit reactive to other dogs, and he did great. The porta john is a nice touch as well. Lots of room and a gorgeous view. Mary, the host, is a wonderful person too, and we will absolutely be back:)

Croaky Oak
Absolutely perfect
Mary has done a great job, down to the finest detail, and you could not ask for a more gracious or accommodating host.
The porta potty is stocked with TP and hand sanitizer and automatically lit both inside and out at night. The campsite has a large picnic table, fire pit with wood supplied, a trash can, and grill. While there is no water hookup, Mary provided a water cube.
The land itself is wonderful, with wildflowers, pheasants, wild turkeys, hummingbirds and even a mink! There is a small pond with loads of sunfish and frogs. There is also a short but very pleasant mowed walking path into the woods.
