Welcome to our working bison ranch, where a unique experience awaits you. Explore our ranch through walking the paths that meander along the creek and around each bison pasture. As you stroll, discover the serenity of a large pond teeming with fish, dragonflies, butterflies, and amphibians. Visit our onsite store, where you can purchase our high-quality bison meat and unique bison artifacts. Additionally, from May to October, we offer tractor-drawn wagon tours into the pastures, providing an up-close encounter with these majestic animals. Nestled within a few miles of charming small towns boasting independent restaurants and stores, our location offers a perfect blend of rural tranquility and local amenities. For those seeking more extensive shopping options, we are conveniently situated within 15 miles of larger Toledo suburbs, featuring a variety of big-box stores. Our bison enjoy over 55 acres of pasture, benefitting from our commitment to rotational grazing for both pasture and bison health. At our ranch, we prioritize working harmoniously with the land, fostering the return of native flora and fauna to our property. Situated a few miles north of Swanton, our land, once used for standard crops, has undergone a transformation. After five years, we proudly boast an array of accomplishments, including the identification of over 25 different bird species in a single morning, an increase in local native pollinator populations (including the monarch butterfly), and a reduction in soil erosion. My husband and I tented here. It was beautiful and peaceful! We saw the bison grazing and fell asleep to frogs in the pond! Very kind hosts.😀

Fun and unique!
A unique and awesome experience! The hosts communicate well and the ranch is a fun place to explore. Our 9 and 7 year olds loved the chickens and fishing in the pond. The bison are so cool and fun to watch. We will be back!

RV Site With Pond/Pasture View
Love it
Stacy and Brent was very hospitable. My 5 gallon water dripped all it water when I got there. They filled it up for me. The olace was quiet and the bison was great to see up close. We went on the tractor tour of the bison. Highly recommend!

Where the buffalo roam…
Such a fun night of camping. Great view from our tent of the roaming buffalo. We got to see all the babies. Great communication, although I missed a couple of the emails, sorry. We really enjoyed our stay with you guys. Thank you..

Peaceful private setting
We loved staying on Stacy and Brent’s land! We were camping with friends and Stacy arranged us near each other. There is generous space for each campsite for privacy. There are some trees along the edge of the camping area, otherwise bring your own shade. Very quiet for peaceful sleeping.
