Less than a five minute drive to the grocery store, and less than a fifteen minute drive to uptown Lexington. Public access for kayaks is less than half a mile away. And the view is unbelievable! We have a corn hole board and bags now available for use, as well as a few other yard games. Please let us know if you are interested in using them. Greetings friend! My name’s Dina Joy. My husband and I are seasoned Hipcampers and I was a Hipcamp mate for the Summer of 2023. Hit 22 states + Tijuana, and stayed at SEVERAL Hipcamps, National Parks, and RV Campgrounds. Our familiarity with the camping mindset enables us to adapt and cater to your unique camping needs with ease. We loved all of our Hipcamps across the country and now that we’re in our home state of North Carolina, are so excited to share our land with other Hipcampers! Halfway between Asheville and Emerald Isle, our land is located in charming Wadesboro, North Carolina. We live on-site in our RV. My husband and I are passionate about growing organic food and are currently building up our garden and other accommodations here. We will continue to grow and build on this property over time. Stop at this “Bluebird Kingdom” and peacefully camp among nature! We are just off the main route towards the Grand Strand and other beautiful coastal destinations! Dog-friendly! (Our 3 cockapoos live on-site.) Semi-primitive property of 45 acres where you may find wild turkey, deer, and many species of birds that don’t dwell in the cities. Explore the refreshing waters of a picturesque creek! There are also walking/riding trails throughout the property. Bring your toys. Very low light pollution, our land is great for serene gazing of the stars at night. We have one camp spot with full hook-ups- water, power (50A, 30A, 20A), sewer. Our field is large enough to accommodate multiple RVs and provides several dry camping sites for a fun and memorable experience! 100 yard driveway with gated entrance for extra comfort and security. JUST 9 minutes from Downtown Wadesboro! Take a nice stroll through this small town and explore the local shops. Our farm is an agritourism farm that offers seasonal events, educational workshops, a petting zoo and animal therapy for a fee. It is free to walk around the farm and visit our animals, but there is a cost to go inside the barnyard for a petting zoo experience. We don't have hookups, so bring a generator if you need it. If you need to fill up your RV water tank, we charge $10. A Grill Pavilion is available to rent for $20 extra. See photos. Propane, grill, table and party lights included. Pitch your tent on the edge of the woods or close by the stream in the woods. If you enjoy watching wildlife, you're in for a treat...this magical portion of the farm provides a forest cover for songbirds, owls, deer, red-shouldered hawks, both red and gray fox and wild turkey.   We allow check-ins during the week after 12 noon, perfect for folks passing through and just need a safe and quiet place to park for the night and not interested in visiting the farm store, the barnyard or the rest of the farm, which are closed during week. Weekends from 10-4 we open the Farm to visitors (campers and non-campers alike) to visit our animals and our Farm Store with a variety of groceries, supplies, gifts, and critter snacks so you can feed your choice of animals!   While we are dog-friendly, we also observe a dog-free zone closer to the barn. We have a complimentary 1-1/2 acre off-leash dog park just steps away from all 3 sites. Our large grassy field can accommodate multiple tent campers, travel trailers, and RVs under 30'. There is 1 maintained porta potty shared by 3 sites.

Bear Creek Tee-Pee Retreat is a small slice of paradise in Mocksville NC. We are the last property at the end of a dirt road surrounded by woods on all sides. We built this space as our little stay-cation spot and knew we had to share it. We are passionate about what we do and work hard to continue to build and grow and share this beautiful space for others to enjoy. We have 3 primitive sites and 2 authentic tee-pees. There is a bath house with a heated shower, and a port-a-john that is cleaned regularly. There are 2 picnic areas with charcoal grills. We have a 24x16 enclosed stage that can be used for bands, educational classes, karaoke, yoga... ect. There is also an outdoor movie theater that is available to rent for an evening. There are a few restaurants close by and we are only 6 miles from downtown Mocksville. There are a lot of wineries and breweries within a 30 min drive from our property. We are about 15 minutes from river access to the Yadkin river for anyone looking to Kayak. There are lots of local fishing holes and places to go horseback riding. We are about an hour drive to lots of different hiking trails from pilot mountain, and hanging rock to the blue ridge parkway. We have 2 dogs that live here and will greet you at the gate. Please be respectful of the neighbors and drive slowly down the dirt road to our property to limit dust. We look forward to hosting your camping get away.

Our farm is a beautiful, private 25 acres with an 1830s house, outbuildings, animals, orchards, gardens, pastures, old trees, wildlife habitat, a spring, and woods. Here you can relax; watch nature; meet our chickens, goats, horse, cats, and dog; learn about archaeology, history, plants, and mead making; and get eggs and homegrown seasonal food. Listen to birdsong and watch clouds during the day, wander a path through our ca. 5 acres of woods, see fireflies in the evening, and star watch at night. Nearby are hiking, horseback riding, historical sites, fishing, antiques, wineries, shooting, and more. We are located in a rural area and have many different domesticated and wild animals so you may hear diverse animal noises and see or smell animal poop, although we try to keep things clean and tidy. Our neighbors have dogs, cattle, and chickens/roosters and occasionally shoot guns during daylight hours (one neighbor is a sporting club with skeet shooting and hunting dogs) but typically our farm is a quiet and peaceful place. We mow regularly and our rooster and chicken ladies wander far and wide eating bugs but, in the summer, they can't get every mosquito and tick so please plan accordingly for your own comfort.

Currently no bathroom, must be self sufficient, pack in pack out. 40’ level pad. Plenty of firewood and dead fall to make a fire in the pit. Should be proficient at backing your rig. Picnic table. Fire pit with cooking grill and a few chairs. Pet friendly but please pick up after your furry friends. Baden has it all. Lake, off road trails for Horses, atv and 4x4. Low cost and no entrance fee. Books up months ahead. Weekdays the best sites are usually. available.

A few of us stayed here in early December. Beautiful location! We stayed in site 29 and it had a view of the lake through the trees. It faces west, so we got a sunset over the water. Easily accessed trial from the campsite. We appreciated the well maintained restrooms and showers (though we didn’t use the showers). It’s a nice hike around the lake - flat but pretty. Many of the sites have a good view of the lake. Two poles to hang gear. Fire ring as well as a charcoal grill at each site.
