Camping in our yard is actually one of our favorite places to sleep - so we decided to find a way to share the beauty of our woods! The site is nestled onto a hillside surrounded by trees and birds. It's near an abandoned home site, but offers complete privacy and a calming break from the world. Listen to the birds sing in the trees, and the creek rush across the road, go hiking nearby, or enjoy the peaceful trout fishing the area provides (make sure to get a permit first!).
Max Patch, with breath taking 360 degree views is less than 6 miles away, and the town of Hot Springs, with many options for incredible hikes, views, and good food is about 30 minutes away.
Nearest grocery store is about an hour away, but there are local stores less than 30 minutes away that offer basic essentials.
Campsite has a private, gated entry off a paved road. 4wd is recommended for our dirt driveway leading to the site but if you don't have 4wd, you can park where the driveway meets the road and we're happy to shuttle your gear to the site, with advance notice. Please note, there is no cell service!
