Reopening January 1, 2024 for guests. We appreciate your patience while making improvements and plan to reopen as soon as the hunting season ends. Enjoy some outdoors time while staying close. We will gladly answer any questions you might have about us or the surrounding Uwharrie Mountains. Thanks for checking us out.Uwharrie National Forest has endless opportunity... Recreation includes hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, canoe and kayaking, fishing, hunting, prospecting and much more.  Located on rolling hills there is a large open camping area surrounded by woods. I no longer offer 3 sites but have combined the area into one site (approx 5 acre area). Your party will be the only one here for the dates you reserve. This is for privacy and safety. Things to know:  The driveway is very steep on both sides of the creek. The main open area has a hill and valley. Plenty of room to park vehicles, 4x4 recommended.   Happy Camping. :)

It was great for off road teardrop trailers. Easily accessible to nearby recreation and super private. The host was responsive and helpful.

Elizabeth has an ideal set up for camping! She is super communicative and helpful, and lets you make yourself at home. The sites, the views, the welcome are the best you’ll have in the Uwharries. We’ll be back!

For the camper seeking a no-frills, peaceful country escape camping experience then this is your place. Elizabeth and her family were kind and welcoming during my trip, offering a unique history of the area and their beautiful land. From the sunset views up to hill to the calm serenity of the campsite creek and friendly horses and dogs that freely roam the property, I enjoyed my time there!

Great spot for dispersed camping near Uwharrie National Forest, we camped in the valley part of the grounds and it provided protection from the wind and all the privacy. The creekside section would be great for tent camping or one to two cars and the hill location had a good view of the farm with space for tents or a couple cars. Host came out to say Hi once we rolled in and asked if we needed anything then let us setup camp.
