Located just east of Fayetteville exit 49 off I-95, is our lovely, quiet, and secluded 30 acre tract of Southern Yellow pines that we purchased 11 years ago. Since we love camping so much we decided to carve out 15 campsites for other campers to enjoy. Most of our campsites are gravel and level. We have a couple of sites that are grass for tenters. We have only site 1 that has full hookups. All the other sites are boondocking.

Double L Farms was previously owned by a woodworker and his family. Brian and Lisa Locklear purchased the 46 acre farm in March of 2017 and have been updating. and making changes ever since. There is full hookup for water, sewer and electric. Free WiFi is also available. Located just 2 minutes off I 95, we have 26 RV sites that are surrounded by our horse and cow pasture. A full bathhouse is available with a commercial laundry facility located 5 minutes away. Double L Farms is located approximately 45 minutes from Ft. Bragg Army Base and 1 1/2 hours from Myrtle Beach, S.C.

If you are here for the beach, the closest beach and also our favorite is Cherry Grove Beach, only a 30 minute drive. There are a few kayak rental companies we can connect you to if you'd like and we know all the local spots for adventure, food and shopping. Pick a hammock and relax listening to the birds, we also have an outdoor kitchen to prepare food and community firepits to gather around. We want this to be a relaxing getaway, to connect with yourself, others and nature.

We carved our 43 acre horse farm out of wild swampy land in 2007 and finished the barndeminium in 2008. We started with Hipcamp 5 years ago & enjoy meeting new people. My husband is retired from the Air Force and works full time doing the chores. I worked full time as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, but I just retired in May of 2024. I have a side hobby making homemade jams, pickles and flavored goat cheese spreads. We love the peacefulness of where we live...although the weather chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, peacocks, goats and horses do get a little loud come feeding time. We have different sites, please read each description or message me before you book a stay. All the sites have an 8pm latest check in unless you've stayed with us before. We are constantly looking for ways to upgrade or make our farm more fun to visit.

Learn more about this land: 104 acres of private land for your enjoyment. This site would be best suited for tent campers at the moment due to no bath houses or electricity for the time being. Come enjoy your stay bring a kayak or canoe and float around the 6 acres of ponds and catch some of the many bass, bream or crappie that occupy the waters. The property is located 7 miles off highway 74/76 in Whiteville and 10 miles to Lake Waccamaw, 32 miles to Ocean Isle Beach, 45 miles to Wilmington, 36 miles to North Myrtle Beach. The road is grassy/dirt I would recommend a suv or truck for your stay. When there’s no burn ban in place or lack of rain i do try to keep firewood on-site but I recommend checking with me before your stay. Reserve your spot and experience the peace and quiet of the outdoors and listen to the turkeys and watch the deer feed in early mornings while the sun rises.
