Hope to Return Often - Loved It!
We loved Farm Away From Home! Nikki was super helpful and friendly and the space was always clean and serene. The goats, sheep and Sophie the Scottish Highland cow were a lot of fun to visit and feed. We were treated to the freshest eggs around (hens on property) and enjoyed watching the birds come to their feeders every day. (Nikki kept them stocked with seed.) This was such a relaxing spot, we hope to return to it again and again. We felt like we were in the country, but only 13 minutes to downtown Weaverville & maybe 20 minutes to downtown Asheville. Plus the cute town of Mars Hill was super close, with coffee shops and a beautiful college campus. We also got to see a local rodeo in Marshall... nothing professional, just the good people from that community. Farm Away From Home was a fantastic spot to stay!

This place was awesome if you are an animal lover. The goats, cow, and sheep are so friendly. We partook in the fresh eggs and brought carrots for the goats. Steph and Nikki were great hosts and provided us with anything we needed. Would no doubt stay here again if we get back to Asheville.

Unique and Lovely Stay
We loved this HipCamp and our site (#5). The animals were so entertaining and it was very quiet and peaceful. The hosts were responsive and made us feel welcome to feed the animals and even get fresh eggs! We did the Navitat zip lining nearby and it was excellent. Easy drive to Weaverville and Asheville as well.

Really Nice Campground
We really liked the surroundings, lots of trees and a small stream behind our rig. The goats were constant entertainment for us and our grandkids - we loved them. Weaverville was very close and had everything that we needed. We also drove into Asheville for BBQ and that was an easy drive. We found the campground to be very quiet. Our hosts were very responsive to anything that we needed. We would definitely visit again.

Very nice!
Our site was super tidy and the property is very well kept. My kids enjoyed all the animals and the private lane to ride their bikes in. Campsites are close but the other campers were quiet so we didn't mind it.
