Coweeta Creek Campground has water, electric, and septic on Sites 1 and 2 as well as a firepit and picnic table. The bathouse allows for hot showers and flushing toilets. Each site is gravel, shaded, and sits along the peaceful Coweeta Creek. The campground property has a large field for games (kickball, soccer, volleyball), as well as a flat 1/4 mile loop which you can view our mini homestead farm. We have chickens, bees, vegetable gardens, and a small fruit orchard. The campground is somewhat secluded (some neighbors across the creek), but only 15 minutes from Franklin, NC and 15 minutes from Clayton, GA with plenty of shopping/restaurants. Once you are at the campground you won't want to leave the beauty of the creek! Strong Wifi is available at all sites. Network password will be provided before arrival. Property History: Coweeta Creek Campground WAS a 20 site, thriving, family/church oriented campground from the 1970's that was later sold, then neglected. My family recently purchased the property and have only 2 sites RV pads and additional camping sites for a more family friendly, intimate setting. *Please send us a message if you are interested in renting out the entire property for family reunions, birthdays, or other events. There is potential for 10 sites with water/electricity along the creek, but we don't advertise it!

Creekside Tent Site 1

Beautiful Fall Experience

My wife and I spent the weekend at a tent camping site and loved it so much. The scenery and the Fall colors were exceptional. My wife enjoyed visiting with the chickens and the fresh eggs were quite tasty. Fun and family friendly

We loved it!

We always enjoy staying at Melissa and Adam’s little piece of paradise in this campground. They’re wonderful hosts and work hard to make sure your stay is excellent. We rented Site 2 in addition to Site for the last few days of our stay for more room for our family.

Creekside- RV Site 1

Great place!

We always enjoy staying at Melissa and Adam’s little piece of paradise in this campground. They’re wonderful hosts and work hard to make sure your stay is excellent. The bathroom and shower are very clean and well stocked. Their grounds are well taken care of and it is like a large park with nice views and sunsets. We have camped with at their campground for a total of almost 7 weeks this year and plan to be back for many more next year. Thanks much Adam and Melissa!

Creekside Tent Site 1

Happy Camper

I spent two lovely nights at Coweeta Creek Campground. Tents site 1 is a good distance from the RV sites, and all sites are nestled along Coweeta Creek. The small creek valley was historically farmed and many of original structures (corn crib, barn, etc) are scattered around the property providing a peaceful, picturesque setting. I appreciated the clean, modern bathhouse and generous hot water. Melissa and Adam are wonderful hosts and were very thoughtful to equip my site with a converter to allow use of the 220 outlet available at the camp. The coverter was waiting at the camp site when I arrived. It was a lovely spot and I will be back.

Creekside Tent Site 1

Secluded slice of heaven

What a fantastic and secluded place to tent camp, while still being close to natural forests and 15 min to town. We loved the fresh eggs and honey. Our daughter loved the creek and found so many critters under rocks, even an otter footprint! Melissa was quick to communicate. We will stay again!

Creekside- RV Site 2

One of The Best !!

One of our Favorite places to camp. Always enjoy it here. Hosts are terrific, eggs, Firewood, (Honey?) Available. Hot/Cold showers and restrooms. Beautiful property with the creek rushing by. Look forward to coming back.
