Active Hanoverian horse breeding farm in Hudson Valley NY minutes from local towns : Red Hook. Rhinebeck. Hudson. Millbrook The farm is across the street from a huge fields leading into maintained trails. Fall asleep to the gentle sounds of cows and donkeys next door and wake up to their rooster đŸ„°đŸ„° I have 3 dogs, 1 cat, many chickens and way too many horses!!

Camping with animals!
Such a beautiful plot of land in the country side of NY. Absolutely am loving the stay! Kathy has been such an amazing and accommodating host! We decided to extend our stay, help out around the farm and enjoy the surrounding cities and sceneries! The horses are full of energy and love seeing the heartfelt moments of caring for them.. 10/10 would recommend!

Great stay
Kathy was a great host. We had a great stay hanging out with the horses and other farm critters. It’s also just a short drive to all the fun towns dotted within the Hudson Valley region.

Love this site & host. Got up on Saturday & pet one of the horses before my hike. It put me in a good mood. Good location if you are traveling from NYC. A little less than 2 hours to get here, and then you're no more than an hour from most of the Catskill trailheads. Red Hook is a nice little town, and other nice little towns like Woodstock are nearby. I will definitely return.

October Car Camping
This was my base of operations for NY Sheep and Wool this year, a few other campers but mostly kept to myself. Easy to find (in the dark...oops) and Kathy was a friendly and communicative host. The horses were beautiful and the dogs very silly. A simple pleasant place to kick back for the night.

Turkey Hill RV
Though we came late in the dark Kathy was very nice and welcoming. We just stayed one night and went further the next morning. Before we left she took time to show our kids her horses, dogs and goats. Our first campsite in the US - nice experience.
