Come on down to Allegany State Park’s Quaker Area campground for a night, a weekend, or an extended getaway.

There are tons of camping options available here, from tent sites to well-stocked cabins. It’s one of two developed spots within the park, and you’ll be a stone’s throw away from lovely hiking trails (including one that will lead you through teeny tiny spaces to the Bear Caves), two lakes, and other outdoor fun. Sunbathe and swim near the sandy beach, fish off of one of the two piers, or launch your kayak or canoe at the access point. If that doesn’t sound like enough to keep you occupied, take a hike and discover hidden caves, play a game of horseshoes, check out a program at the amphitheater, or hang out in your cabin. Fireflies tend to take over in the summer months, its a beautiful thing to see. It's the perfect place to get away and enjoy nature all while being close to restaurants and downtown Olean if needed. Enjoy cooking on our rustic fire pits or light a fire to just enjoy the crackling sounds and warmth at night. We have 2 camp sites ready right now both come with a fire pit. One is more secluded which is campsite #2 and the one with the valley view is campsite #1. Showers are seasonal. There is an individual fire pit for each camper, a small rock bottom creek runs through the 15 acres for a nice, relaxing view of the woods. The kids and I set up a swing set, and a spot by the creek to play and splash. Now, New York is a 420 friendly state. Big Tree Camping

Learn more about this land: This property is in Orchard Park. It is two acres, surrounded by trees and a fence on three sides, which provides good privacy. There is a large parking area with 15a electrical available for small campers or small trailers. Also a hose is available to fill water. Alternatively, I have two great tent spaces at the back of the property with a private areas to set up tents. There is a (shared) campfire stonepit at the back of the property. Split firewood is available for $5.00 per armload. Campers can take this from the firewood pile. Chestnut Ridge park is a 7 minute drive. It has great trails, including the Eternal Flame Hike, and a large fishing pond. Green lake is also nearby with fishing and a good place for paddle boarding or kayaking. The property is .5 mi from Bills Stadium. Lake Erie and its beaches are a 15 minute drive. Niagara Falls is 30 min. Downtown Buffalo is 20 min. There are walkable restaurants nearby (about .5 to 1 mi). An indoor restroom is available at specific hours (typically 4pm-8:30 am) or if arranged in advance outside those hours. No shower is available.

Beautiful Park, and you can even see bears! So enjoy the natural beauty of the park, but remember to safely store your food for the night.

Beautiful park, great trails, and a nice little lake to relax by with a good book. Cabins are close together, so it's better for people who want to have a nice fire under the stars and not for anyone wanting solitude.
