This is a non-smoking, no candle facility. The camp was founded 40 years ago as a summer camp for kids. Now we welcome adults, and other groups to enjoy the vast and wild high desert nature up on this ridge. There are beautiful views and access to Shaggy Peak, the southernmost tip of the Rocky Mountains and the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range. Wander our land to enjoy various level hiking trails including a 20 minute hike to a creek and waterfall in the forest (some steep spots and creek is intermittent) or climb up Shaggy Peak (seasoned hikers only please). NOTE: We are up 1.3 miles of dirt road (with 5-7+% grade in a few short stretches) and are not near public transportation so you will need your own vehicle! Be aware that the roads can be snowy, icy or muddy and rutted ( 4-wheel or All-trak recommended in certain times of year). We don’t guarantee the road will be plowed.

A nice drive from downtown Santa Fe. It is a place to disconnect and connect to nature. All the necessities are thought of and the bathroom, with hot showers, and kitchen areas are very clean. The kitchen is stocked with everything so no need to bring ANY kitchen stuff.....just food. And there are fridges to keep it in. Well water on premise to drink. There are many options to choose to stay in, from small yurts, nice canvas tents and tree houses with just a bed. We stayed in our car and grabbed a campsite. We hiked some of the trails leading off the property and they were maintained well. We felt the place was very convenient and loved going in September.

Staying the night at Santa Fe treehouse was fantastic! Highly recommend it to anyone coming to explore Santa Fe. We loved everything they had to offer from the amenities, the hiking trails, to the activities that they offer onsite.

Treehouse Camp:Tent, Van Truck camp

Fantastic property. There is plenty of room on this sprawling pine forest site for all types of camping with loads of privacy - tents, glamping, cabins and everything in between. Hiking trails for all levels of fitness are easily accessible, and their are loads of outdoor activities (if that’s your thing). At the same time, it’s quiet enough to just chill and read a book. The star gazing with Bobcat Brad was an unexpected highlight.

We loved staying at the Santa Fe Treehouse Camp! The views were beautiful, the facilities were great, and Brad and Ciana were amazing! Climbing the 40ft pine tree with Brad is a must-do experience! We cannot wait to come back again!
