    Cedar Springs Campground is a lightly used camp located at 7,300 feet of elevation in the New Mexican forest.

    Campers with horses can get their ride on in the area, but there are no equestrian facilities available on the campground. Please be prepared to provide your own water. Trujillo’s Country Store in Blanco on Route 64 is your best bet for supplies in the area.

    From U.S. Highway 550 (north of Nageezi), follow the signs that say Chaco Canyon National Monument Park (County Road 7900). From County Road 7900 and County Road 7950 (turn right on 7950). After 3 miles, at the end of pavement, you will see a sign that says "Dry Camp", with a long dirt driveway. Our campground is 13 miles before the hazardous road to Chaco Canyon. We like to say the we are "The Gateway to Chaco Canyon". Save the wear and tear on your trailers, camp with us! Horse-Thief Campground is an upcoming camp; located on 5 acres of land and more, for campers to enjoy. In a quiet; serene, beautiful landscape area of the Dine Nation. With beautiful sunrise; sunsets and night sky is out of this world. There are trails in which visitors may walk or bike, as well as a Look Out Point. Horse-Thief is currently a Dry Camp with no Electricity or running water however generators are welcome. There is one portable restroom. We look forward to Meeting and Greeting you!     Santa Rita Ranch is located in a rural, agricultural valley south of Durango, Colorado. Originally a dairy and hay farm, the Mannix's raised all organic beef in the past. Currently it operates as a hay farm and Linda has three horses and three donkeys. Very quiet rural area with plenty of open space. Elevation 6,000 ft. Learn more about this land: The 40 acre Santa Rita Ranch has hayfields, irrigation and plenty of room to camp. Located 20 minutes south of Durango Colorado it is quiet and peaceful. Good internet access!  Porta potty available. Only 20 minutes to two wineries: Foxfire Farms in Ignacio, CO and Wines of the San Juans near Aztec, NM.  Paddleboarding and windsurfing on Lake Nighthorse. Lots of mountain bike trails near Durango and good road biking on our CR 213. Flying into Durango? We have a tent and camp chairs for you! Horses and donkeys available to pet.  Horse boarding available for those traveling with their equine friends.

There can be water and electricity for a higher rate. I have a hammock, fire pit, inflatable hot tub that stays at 104, and an outdoor movie screen. There's a brew pub, VFW, Pizza place, Thai restaurant and others all in walking distance. I'm 20 minutes from Tico Time Resort, 40 minutes to Durango and 15 minutes to Farmington City proper. For attractions, I'm near Aztec Ruins, Bisti Badlands, Cox Arch, Farmington Lake, best fly fishing in NM at Navajo dam and plenty more! I work remotely and travel so you may be asked to water the gardens and feed the cats. Please ask if you have any questions!
