Our ancestor Ebenezer Cole, settled in our little corner of Lebanon, NH., in 1847. Eight generations of our family have lived, and farmed here since. Although once almost totally cleared for crops and grazing, most of our land is now devoted to forestry, but some land remains open and devoted to forage crops. We also have a modern hillside maple orchard. Although we no longer actively farm full time, the stewardship of our farm is of upmost importance to our family. We encourage people to visit our property and enjoy it fully. We host a Boy Scout Troop campsite on another part of our property. We are located in the heart of the Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee Region with countless cultural, and recreational opportunities just minutes away. We hope you will come for a visit and learn to love our farm and community as much as we do. Learn more about this land: Shaded Brookside Glen is a private, stream side, level, pull through site for a small RV, trailer, or tent. This is the private campsite we developed on our farm several years ago for when my wife and I need a little getaway, but don't have the time to travel. Shaded Brookside Glen is a level, mowed lawn surrounded by mature trees and bushes. Dry camping only, but a nice composting outhouse is easily available nearby. Water is available from the year round trout stream, but drinking water must be carried in. Shaded Brookside Glen has a picnic table, a metal fire pit, and limited fire wood is supplied. The drive to the site is across a grassy, mowed, well drained field, but can be effected by long periods of rain.Shaded Brookside Glen is a private, stream side, level, pull through site for a small RV, trailer, or tent. Great stay on a peaceful brook
My friends and I loved camping at Shaded Brook Glen! It was very private, the brook is beautiful and the out house, picnic table and fire pit made our stay very comfortable. I highly recommend camping here on your upcoming trip.

Great weekend trip
Had a wonderful second hipcamp experience at Elm Tree Farm! Grassy drive through some wildflowers, we were nestled in the trees for a 2 night stay with our two pups. Fire pit was awesome, cash based honor jar. Spent time by the babbling brook, wandered up the scenic road and got some local honey. The outhouse was great, well stocked and very clean. The stars on a clear night were breathtaking, second night it rained but it was nice to fall asleep to and things didn’t get too wet because of the canopy. Heard some cars from a nearby road but it died down overnight. No service at the campsite but just walk to the road and we got some. Highly recommend to unplug/unwind.

Very cute little site. You can hear the rd but ur not far off the beaten path is all. Recommend following their instructions to keep ur pup leashed at all times we used a long lead so he could run around a Lil but not stray away from us. There are Definitely deer roaming around owls and a rd once you leave their little camp site and it's beneficial to know where your puo is at all times good recall or not. Their fire pit is great and we Recommend using the wood they provide for cooking it's 10 bucks a sack and for a family of four, we spent 70 bucks which isn't bad for a 4 day stay. Their trash can provided is on the smaller side but worked most of yhe stay. The out house is wonderful especially if you have kids. My family had a great time we def Recommend this spot.
