Montana Old West Campground at Fenner Fort is located 10 minutes to the entrance to Many Glaciers Park Entrance and 12 Minutes to Going to the Sun entrance. Montana Old West has 8 full hook up campsites, Tent sites and dry parking, We offer Horse Hotel for those that love to bring their horses to experience Glacier National Park, Of course we love All Dogs ,but they must be leashed on our ranch and we have small animals live near loose, and very easy for dogs to get lost and distracted. We are located on Fenner Fort on Duck Lake where the Lewis and Clark expedition camped right here and ate so much Duck Meat soup with too much grease, they all got belly ache and therefor named this the Duck Lake. Duck Lake is located on the Old North Trail also known as the travois trail, the Blackfeet would gather and call this lake "Drums by the Shore" as it is said to have spirits playing drums in the night. Dale and Patty Fenner raise kids, grandkids Cattle and the horses raised from the Patty's Paternal grandfather Mountain Chief of the Blackfeet and her Maternal grandfather Chief Joseph of the Nez Pierce tribe. Montana Old West offers story's, history, plants, a private family museum, a trading post and gift shop, the best sunsets you have ever seen Thee most beautiful sunset on the Mountain front a 180 degree view of the Glacier National Park Mountain Front. If you like Rustic, Cowboy, Native American, History, learning a few Blackfeet medicinal plants. Sunset and Stars to leave you breathless with tears, all while you can read the Blackfeet Mythology posted to share our culture with you, A Old West Shower house like you would find in an 1900 Gold Camp, Like the Ghost town of Alten now located under the Many Glacier Lake in the Valley, it flooded when the Dam was built. Montana Old West Guests will be Showering under the open sky, in a water on demand shower, you could imagine as you would find in an old western town. If you truly want to experience the Montana Old West, you will Love Fenner Fort on Duck Lake. We Welcome All, Hikers and Bikers, Ladies and Gents alike, Children are treasured and dogs can be walked, off road Bikers can ride fat tired bikes on the gravel roads, fisherman can walk with pole in hand. But Watch carefully and be prepared A Moose, a Bear or a Wolf or a Buffalo are always near, The cows are mean and the horses will bite and kick so always be Mind your own at Montana Old West and always remember You are only a guest here in Glacier National Park, The Animals Live Here all year around. Montana Old West welcomes all Hippies and Cowboys and everyone in between are welcome to sit at "Drums by the shore" and listen for the spirits to play the drums.

Site 2 - Montana Old West Tent Sites
We had a good experience camping on Patty’s land. Directions and signage were good.m and helpful. No one was in the office but self-check-in was straightforward. Gravel to park was a bit overgrown but the campsite was clear so had plenty of room to pitch a tent.

We stayed in one of the cabins. It was cute and perfect for what we needed. It is absolutely beautiful out there! I would stay here again!

Patty and her husband were awesome and so nice! When high winds hit the campsite they let us move our tent into one of their buildings.

The campground has a lot of potential and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. Amazing view of the mountains and close to Many Glacier. Biggest issue is the really old port-a-potty.
