A quiet, country campground with over 12 miles of well-marked trails through old growth hardwood timber. We offer shady campsites and fishing in two private lakes stocked with bass and bluegill. Lakes are for campers only! Campers can pick blueberries when they are in season (June-July)--limit 2 pints per site per day. Wildlife is abundant. You will hear owls and coyotes at night. Often bald eagles can be spotted at both lakes. Other wildlife you may see: deer, wild turkey, raccoons, opossums, fox, bobcat, coyote, rabbits, armadillo, otter, and squirrels. Please do not approach the wild animals! There is a pretty creek for those who like to creek walk. Petrified wood can be picked up in the creek bed. We are only 30 minutes from the University of Mississippi campus for people coming for ballgame weekends. We are only about 20 minutes from Grenada and Enid Reservoirs. These have some of the finest crappie fishing in the United States. We are located 2 miles east of the Trans America Trail.

A perfect getaway

I can't say enough great things about staying at this camp! Anita and Lynn really go out of their way to ensure you have the BEST time. Such down to earth people, you'd think you're camping with members of your own family. We celebrated a birthday here with a large group of friends and dirtbikes and Anita surprised everyone with a birthday cake (how nice!!!) The pads were nice and level, plenty of shade, and the community fire pit was a nice touch!! I'm excited to come back not only because the campground was nice, but to visit with our new friends Lynn and Anita! 10/10

West side tent Site #15

I will definitely be returning.

Perfect stay for primitive tent camping on a beautiful lake deep in the wooded property. Fishing is great, property is well maintained, trails are clear and marked for easy navigation. Camp site is very private, abundance of wildlife. The host is very accommodating, friendly and excited to share this wonderful property and the experience that it provides. I will definitely be returning with plans for a longer stay. For those with RVs, they have new sites with hook up, near the front of the property on top of the hill where the multiple trails start.

Great for camping with the horses!

The sites were level and easy to access. Great hook ups for amenities. Wonderful trails and easily marked. Different terrain made for wonderful horseback riding.

Loved the convenience of the pull through camp site..no backing and jockeying needed!..and right next to my friend with her trailer. Anita came to meet us shortly after arrival and took me on a quick tour of the trails. My camp site backed right up to an access to the trails. Very convenient! We were the first horseback riders to visit Twin Lakes, and I am certain we won't be the last! I plan to tell all my friends how nice the trails are...12 miles worth of well marked trails looping in and out of 350 acres that includes two small lakes, a variety of elevations

Great place to camp

Twin Lakes is a beautiful place - sooo much to explore! The Havens are so wonderful, some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. We can’t wait for our next visit come spring time!
