Rustic + picturesque primitive camp
This was a very easy walk to Treasure Island Ampitheater for a concert- so worth not having to deal with traffic. It was clean and we felt very safe!

Good spot walking distance to casin
First time using this way to book and I'm glad I did. Went to concert and all hotels were sold out around the area. Even TI camp site was sold out. Found this here that is about a 10 to 15 min walk to the casino. Concerts at TI are crazy packed with vehicles so this was a great alternative. There's some construction going and really no signs of the place so got lost at first but found it. The hosts were very friendly and told us where we could go. They were setting something up down by the river so we couldn't go there but we wouldn't have chosen that spot anyways. We were glad there were porty potties too!!! It's really dark at night for the way home ...and there's no cross walk or patrol when have to come back. There was police at the road to cross that stopped traffic for us on thr way there but not way back so just be careful crossing if walking on the sidewalk side. They had trash cans for garbage when we were done so that was great. It was our group and few others so wasn't packed. Must of been a hidden treasure! There was a communial pit in the middle but we used a fire pit closer to our group. We picked up wood in Miesville which was on the way and glad we did since I didn't see any they had for sale or much for use. Definitely a great tenting alternative when in the area .

We had a great time at this campsite! There were fire pits and port-a-pottys available. The sites are first come first serve. Also, it didn't bother us much, but you can see city lights and hear a train that came through quite a few times.
