Camden State Park shines year-round, but take a trip there this fall, and the trees—woodlands, maples, basswoods, oaks, and cottonwoods, to be specific—will tree-t you to a spectacular show of colors.
Set along the Redwood River, Camden State Park campground offers great hiking on the Dakota Valley Trail and canoeing in Brawner Lake. Jump in the spring-fed pool for a quick cool off, and for dinner, catch fresh bass or bluegill. The Upper Campground offers drive-in, pull-through and electric sites.
