GREAT SITE, GREAT OWNERS, WILL BE B
Heather and Tom are great folks! It rained all week we were there, so I upgraded to their primitive cottage instead of fighting the rain camping. No regrets. The whole facility was great. The only thing I suggest is a shelf in the shower rooms, instead of relying on the toilet and sink as a place to put your stuff. Also, I'd build a threshold to keep the shower water off the base of the toilets. When the shower water hit the floor around the toilets it kinda smelled of urine. Some people's kids probably pee on the floor in there to be honest.
The cottage was perfect. No problems. Comfy. We kayaker across the lake to the creek. That was fun. Didn't catch a single fish lol, but blame our poor fishing skills on that.
I'm not sure if Heather and Tom let anyone use the sauna, or if it's just their personal sauna....but after a great conversation with Tom, he invited me and my son to experience our first sauna. It was great! So, not sure if it's open to all, but it goes to show that Tom is a friendly man.
Also, I had no idea, but Tom told us about the history of the place. Al Capone used to hang out there in one of the cabins. Interesting!

We stayed at this campground for a week. We used the location as a base camp while we rode our sidexsides around the area. The campground is very nice and the hosts are great. There are bathrooms and showers available that we used and they were clean, warm and perfect for a camp shower.

Above and beyond expectations!
This place has a little of everything. There's 2 bathrooms with a sink and flushing toliet, and 2 more that add a hot shower. Potable water is on site, as well. Check in was super easy. Online booking makes it super convenient. They have a little general store with food and beverages. They sell firewood, too. Theres a trail, and a huge lake with an observation deck. We had a blast.

Definitely coming back!!
Heather and Tom are the BEST! They were so hospitable and kind, and personally offered extra protection from the rain for our tent. The land was beautiful, quiet, had hot clean showers, and tons of activities available. Can’t recommend enough!!

Directions were clean and bathrooms and showers were lovely. This would be an amazing place to bring a family because there are no shortage of things to occupy the kiddos. Tent sites are close together but set up for maximum privacy. Enjoyed my weekend!

The land was lovely and the amenities were excellent, but the sites themselves looked nothing like the photos. We could see all of our neighbors and had zero privacy. There were also scary looking campers on almost every tree facing the camp, it was uncomfortable to say the least.
