This is a rustic campsite without facilities or electricity. This property borders the South Charlotte River. It is in a very private location. You can drive into the camping areas. We are located 12 miles south of Sault Ste Marie just off of M-129. The property is for both tent camping and a parking place for RVs. There is a path you can drive on on the left 100ft from the road. You can set up anywhere along the cut grass area. There will be two white chairs and a small camp porta potty available for your use. There is a cut walking trail that forms a loop on the property.Tent campers can park in a grassy wooded spot 50 to 100 yards from the driveway. RV campers can pull into or back into a flat grass covered path. Tent campers can choose from spots in an area near the parking. This is a very secluded spot and we only have one site rented at a time for complete privacy. The South Charlotte River borders the property. The Sault Ste Marie area has a lot of history with two Great Lakes, the St Marys River and the Soo Locks. Whitefish Point and the Tahquamenon Falls are a 90 minute drive from here.

Tent or RV Boondock Campsite
Beautiful UP land
Dale’s land was exactly what I was looking for, beautiful meadow and trees, it was so quiet and the firewood was super dry! Dale was very friendly and it was easy to book and everything went as expected. I would definitely stay here again

RV Boondock campsite parking spot
Perfect Boondock Site off I75
Dale was a very good host. He met us promptly and showed us the site as well as gave us some local highlights we could check out while in the area. Very nice guy. The site was tucked away in trees right off a country road- very private. A perfect place to boondock and restock your RV as it was not far from Interstate 75 with grocery stores and restaurants within a 15 minute drive.

Primitive site near Sault Ste Marie
Dale was a gracious host. He a waiting for us at the road when we arrived. We had good communication through the app. His site was primative, with a trash bin and fire ring as promised. The rural location was quiet; the proximity to Sault Ste. Marie was perfect for a restful stop while journeying through UP Michigan.

Tent or RV Boondock Campsite
It was lovely to meet Dale, and his camping spot was just what we needed for the night. The mosquitoes were numerous, but the campfire kept them at bay. Dale has mown trails that had some nice prairie.

RV Boondock campsite parking spot
Winter camping with our dogs!
We spent 2 nights at Dale's campsite while up to visit our Lake State student. The campsite is only about 15 minutes from Sault Ste Marie so very convenient. This is definitely boondocking as there are no hook ups (we were in a 20 ft trailer). Dale's property is sooo beautiful... we took the dogs for walks in the snow and look forward to coming back again when the snow melts. We loved it!
