Learn more about this land: Pitch or park at our serene swampland oasis and wake up to the abundant wildlife across our 24 acre wild property with five ponds and an island of friendly goats. Frequently see aquatic birds, eat from fruit trees, hike with goats, and enjoy a landscape balanced with both manicured design and uninhibited nature. Booking includes a complimentary handmade goat milk soap, free use of our paddleboat and kayak, and unlimited kisses from our affectionate pack of rescue dogs and herd of elderly rescued horses. Gravel driveway leads the way to a flat waterfront solid grass parking spot with 30amp RV hookups and fire circle. Guests have private entry access to a recently renovated bathroom with shower and tub. Snow White Sanctuary is a gated private property at the end of a dead end road. Parks and river access within walking distance, 30 minutes from Lake Charles, 2 hours from Houston, and less than one hour from beaches along the Gulf of Mexico. Some of our favorite local attractions include: Shangri-La Botanical Gardens, SPAR Waterpark, Delta Downs Racetrack, and Insane Sausages Cajun Food. We are a safe, inclusive, and welcoming campground.

Amazing campground

Had a great time exploring everything Snow White Sanctuary had to offer! It was the first time visiting and it couldn't have gone any better. Brought our travel trailer and parked next to the first pond without any issues.

Tent Camp 2 @ Snow White Sanctuary

Can't wait to go back!

This place is awesome! My wife and I wanted to take our 2 small kids camping but didn't know where to go. We seen it was a highly rated campsite so we took a chance, and it far exceeded our expectations. Staying here is like sleeping in a petting zoo; there are horses, donkeys, chickens, pigs, peacocks, goats, cows, emus, and about a dozen very friendly dogs that roam the property keeping it safe. It is so peaceful and everyone is super nice. We will definitely be back again!

Tent Camp @ Snow White Sanctuary

Land is beautiful and the animals are awesome to be around. It was a little hard to find who to talk to or where to go when we first arrived, but after that all was well. The bathroom/water accessibility is only at the main house and there are a good amount of people who share it. Tent site was semi-secluded and had a great view of the lake and alligators in it. Overall had a great time.

Magical

This place is truly magical! I camped in spot 3 on one of the larger ponds. Felt like I had the place to myself even though Ocean had mentioned close to 40 campers that night! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, especially the animals! I can’t wait to come back!

Tent Camp 2 @ Snow White Sanctuary

Exceptional hosts and Campground

I would highly recommend this Campground. Especially if you love animals! The hosts are absolutely amazing, they make you feel like family, and the work they do with rescue animals is outstanding. The campsites are very nice and the entire property is very clean and welcoming. We will definitely be going back. This animal sanctuary has my full support and we will be returning frequently. It was a fantastic first Camp experience for my 6-year-old twin great-grandbabies. Great family camping area.
