This place was perfect. Lots of wide open spaces. Quiet. Safe. Clean. Thanks a bunch!

Camping area is okay, but where we parked had a strong smell of urine. Grounds were not well maintained. When entering driveway into camping area, we wondered if we were in the right place, no gate or sign, just address and wire fence/gate laying on the ground, and hasn’t been mowed or weed whacked for a long time. Pretty close to the road and there’s train tracked not too far away, so not the quietest place either. Host was quick to respond upon booking but slow after that. Would not stay here again.

Quiet place to spend some time. River access is good. There are some shade spots to get out of the sun. The grass is a bit overgrown in a few of the camping areas, but it was workable. Price was great.

Nice dispersed site.

Nice dispersed camp spot but needs some mowing to clean up sites. We we able to negotiate the road in with our 26’ travel trailer and got a site under the Cottonwood trees. The title ‘River View” should more appropriately say “Seasonal River View” as it was obscured by lots of brush growth. Very private and secluded and our dogs had plenty of room to play.. with some maintenance, this would be a great spot. Close to Thermopolis. Be sure to bring plenty of mosquito spray and a shovel to bury your poop if you don’t have a potty in your rig.

Really liked camping here. We basically had our own private pasture with access to the river. Our dog was especially appreciative—she really wanted to spend the night outside (we didn’t allow that, but she enjoyed being able to roam unleashed during the day). A quick drive into town to soak at the park, too. The path in from the road was easily passable in a stock Ridgeline pulling a 16’ camper, though I can see how wetter conditions might make it a bit of a challenge. Picnic tables and fire rings supplied, there was a trash can, too, but it looked like it hadn’t been emptied in a long time so we left it alone. Nice place! Hope to visit again!

Nice spot by the river.

We enjoyed a private camp by the river! What a great spot! We parked under the trees and put a tarp down and our chairs and table and enjoyed the beautiful view!
