Welcome to the Downey Ranch! The Downey Ranch has been in the family for over 60 years, and 4 generations. We are a working cattle ranch in Northeast Wyoming. With views of the Devils Tower, and only minutes from world class Keyhole Lake, it is our little slice of heaven. We were also the very first National Audubon Society Conservation Ranch in Wyoming and our commitment to our land is what makes our ranch special. Part of the black hills of Wyoming, the ranch is a mixture of ponderosa pine canyons and sagebrush steppe prairie. We own cattle, horses, chickens and our wonderful dogs. Our wildlife includes Pronghorn Antelope, Mule and white tailed deer, mountain lions, prairie dogs, badgers, weasel, mink, beaver and much much more. Our birdlife includes a highly visible Bald Eagle Nest, Blue Heron Rookery, and many other avian species. There is world class walleye fishing at keyhole lake and an abundance of privacy for wildlife watching. Caves, Canyons, and forests surround Wyoming's iconic Sagebrush Steppe.
