Gregg accommodated a last minute one nighter on Memorial Day weekend. Would definitely go again.

My fiancé and I had a great experience at Siedl’s! Gregg was very communicative leading up to and throughout our trip. The spot was nice and peaceful and private. We had a great fire using the wood provided to us, and even played with the camp dog, Ghost. Overall, a great experience at a great price!

Far enough away from the residence to make you feel like you were in the bush but not to long of a walk

Meh... maybe it'll work for you?
It's a very mixed review. Mind you I have lived outdoors for months at a time and even wild camped. The site is just the most bare- minimum thing I've ever camped on. It's a mowed patch of grassy field in the open, no shade. I figure since most people car camp this was probably better for them. We came with our two dogs on our e-bikes. With no shade and no seats it just wasn't enjoyable. FYI the "toilet" is a bucket so that was disappointing. The road was so loud at night we couldn't get to sleep till very late, then had to wake up early because the sun made the tent so hot. Paid for 2 nights and couldn't even stay the second. I will say the natural prairie field is beautiful, though. Gregg is friendly, no problem there. Only off-putting thing was that he felt he needed to excuse his dog being kept on a short chain outside 24/7 right away without us even asking about it. We have 2 dogs and my opinion is that it's animal neglect for sure. He mentioned that the dog has food and water so it's fine. But the dog's other needs are not being met and since it's so hot out that dog house is basically an oven. It's a husky with a thick coat, mind you. It's a very friendly dog, deserves better.
Overall, if you plan to camp here keep in mind you should bring chairs and something to provide shade. Then it might be a nice spot, but it doesn't feel all that secluded since the house and road is right there.

Must be okay with chained-up dogs
Close to City. No trees for shade. Dog chained up most days, all day long. Might be different if there was a much longer chain where he could run around like a regular farm dog, but his little circle was just heartbreaking.
