Hey there Happy Campers! We welcome you to our small slice of Driftless heaven. This private campsite is located in prairie land, surrounded by agricultural and wooded property (it’s quiet). Within a few minutes drive you have access to some of the best trout streams a fishing license can buy. You're also in close proximity to amazing hiking and biking trails, agri-tourism (apple pickin' good times!), endless photography opportunities, wineries, birding, stargazing and visits to downtown Viroqua! After a long day of adventuring, come back to this quiet retreat, make some brandy old fashions and enjoy the ambiance of the stars and crackling camp fire! This site can accommodate 2 large tents with plenty of room for a camp kitchen, fire pit and seating area. There is newly constructed composting style outbuilding (please read instructions before using it) and a camp kitchen table along with solar powered lighting. Firewood and other supplies are conveniently available in downtown Viroqua. Be sure to check out the various retailers and restaurants while you're there! After a long day of adventuring, come back to this quiet retreat, make some Brandy Old Fashions, hang around the fire pit and enjoy all the stars! This site can accommodate 2 large tents with plenty of room for a camp kitchen, fire pit and seating area. There is a newly constructed composting style outbuilding and solar shower stall. Please read and follow all instructions. When pulling up to the property, there is a parking area that can easily accommodate 2 cars (or 1 vehicle and a small camper). From there, we have a walkway to the camp pad (about 50 steps away). We've left a wheel barrow chained to the lantern post which you can use to easily haul your gear to/from your vehicle. UPDATE: It’s Summer and the wild parsnip and giant hogweed are blooming all around the Driftless. While it’s pretty to look at, please use caution and limit any contact. (Google both so you know how to identify it) PRP TIP: you’re camping in prairie land, so an EZ Up style canopy is recommended if you plan to spend time at camp during the day. We loved our stay here. We had such a great time, and made many memories to hold forever. :-) We loved how private it was, and peaceful. The stars were amazing to look at, and the cows were a plus! We would love to come back sometime, and would highly recommend this location! :-) Thank you Travis!

Nothing can be improved. It was unbelievably quiet and private. I had above and beyond communication from the host when some bad weather rolled in. He managed to contact me despite having zero cell coverage out there.

Driftless Adventures

We had a fun visit to S-Camp. The Driftless Region has so much to offer and this site was quiet and centrally located to neat shops in Viroqua and easy 50 min drive to Wyalusing State Park (boat rentals) and Prairie du Chien. Don’t miss Pete’s Hamburgers in the warmer months. The property had plenty of space for our 5 adults, 1 dog, 2 sleeping tents, and screened in tent. The biodegradable toilet and shower were well designed. We’ll be back.

Great Lil’ Campsite!!!

This was an amazing little site. Super convenient to many things in the area. Directions were clear. Site had everything thing!!! Would definitely stay again!!!!!
