Tranquil sanctuary on 37 acres of gorgeous mixed terrain, open for your enjoyment and recreation! A 12 acre lake with amazing wildlife/birdwatching, 20+ acres of wooded trails for hiking or mtn biking, a small meadow, gorgeous sunsets and night skies, and whatever else you make of it. Less than an hour from the Twin Cities, and 10 minutes from thriving Amery, a community with plenty to offer and charm for days.Serene and secluded camp spot on east side of lake making for splendid sunsets. Access from main road could not possibly be easier. Amazing birdwatching and wildlife opportunities with loons, swans, kingfishers, heron, dozens of migratory species, beavers, and more. We have 3 kayaks available on site for you to use as you wish, and firewood is complimentary. Hike around the nearly 40 acres of prairie and woods and unwind here, less than an hour from the cities. Adam was very prompt and responsive with messages prior to and during our stay. He was very flexible with modifying our reservation when the extreme heat had us delay our arrival. He has a nice property with a great little lake. There was miscommunication regarding the recent placement of a camper trailer on the spot. Because of the camper trailer, there was not enough room for us to set up our pop up camper. Adam quickly addressed the issue by apologizing and sending a refund.

Super great host, was nearby in case of any issues. Loved the lake and relaxed with the fire. 5 stars easily
