Four years ago, David and Veronica began designing and building structures in the 20 acre hardwood forest that Davids' father acquired back in 1969. Now they live there full time in an off-grid cabin with monthly seminars, campsites for rent and a passion for sharing the wonders of the forest.

Fisher Cat Creek Forest Retreat
The cabin is in a beautiful wooded location. It is peaceful, very rustic and a great getaway if you are looking to disconnect and unwind. Veronica and Dave are very friendly and helpful. .

Jungle Room Camp Site
The site was on the owners property but secluded. We were not aware the parking was off site. The only way to get your belongings on the site was with a wagon that they provided. We were made aware on arrival that the grass hadn't been cut in many weeks and the trail from the parking to the site was also not cut; we got lost in the dark and had to turn back around. At this point it was very dark by the time we got back to the parking area we just decided to pack up and head home that same night. The hosts were friendly, the site itself was just not as anticipated.

The cabin we staying in is amazing! The craftsmanship the hosts put into this place is inspiring. We hope to make it back again! The nearby county side is beautiful as well.

I loved this place. Has a cute little rustic cabin to stay in and had all the utensils you'll need inside. Kids had fun walking the trail to the creek.

Fisher Cat Creek Forest Retreat
Wonderful camping experience, hosts were very friendly and helpful. Area was nice for walking, cabin was well stocked and ready for visitors, and just excellent weather. Had a great time.
