The site was as expected, near city with traffic noise but good location to downtown Milwaukee. the fire wood was green and not split so i had no luck with campfire

After the rain I was impossible to drive to camp site with out getting stuck.it was very difficult to even walk around the slippery mess.

We drove past this place the first time because you are lead to an address with a house overflowing with junk. There is no sign by the road indicating there are campsites available. We finally followed the directions of pulling into the driveway and driving past the junk to locate our site in the woods with their junk. Didn’t feel safe.
Upon arrival we located our site. There was a shirtless guy with no shoes onthat came up a trail and told us we could take a bigger site and had given us firewood. He was friendly, but said he was not the owner. It was nice to get more space, but the firewood we purchased from here was wet and would not burn. It was also large logs and not slices of wood so burning it was very challenging. We messaged and asked about water and bathroom locations and did not get a response. We did locate a toilet but it was full of poop. We had to go buy water from a gas station and go to McDonald’s to use the restroom. There were trails throughout the property, but toilet paper and other random items were randomly found in the woods since no toilet. Glass bottles at our site, and empty cigarette containers at our site. Would have appreciated communication from our host. Disappointed in this experience. It was our first time using Hipcamp and probably our last.

About a hour away from downtown/lakefront area via bike. Decently size spots for a tent, car, etc. Decent price for what u get. They have a outdoor outhouse type bathroom & a microwave u can use. No showers. No electric hook-up except for one site. But, I heard the owners want to change that. Overall if u don't mind no shower or about a hour bike ride to the downtown/lakefront area (faster via car of course) it's a nice place.

Purple Site
The host was so great! He was friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The land was so awesome. His sweet little girl even took us on a tour of the paths and and all the cool things to see on the property. Would definitely recommend!
