Hugged by Nature

This was an incredible site. Not a single thing disappointed. My sister-in-law and I brought our 14 year old sons for a weekend in nature. These boys love wildlife. However, we also wanted a certain amount of comfort. This site is the most balanced of the two I have ever experienced. We had a secluded site on private (gated) property. Fully immerged in the North woods. There was no sparing the sights and sounds of nature. The Port-a-John was incredibly convenient, all while being far enough away to offer ample privacy. The walk to the John was pristinely kept and lit. The lights brightened for a short moment as you walked into its range; quickly going dim as the next took its turn. We would honestly find ourselves speaking in circles about the utmost luck we had finding this site. The weather gave us a challenge we never considered prior to our arrival. My sister-in-law was a warrior as she held an umbrella over our fire through torrential downpour. Though it took us hours to finally build a fire from wet spoot and kindling.... We were still able to enjoy a HOT supper. The tarp-covered wood supply promised us warmth through it all. We truly thank the hosts for the care they take and the thoughtfulness they share. We kind of hope this place is a secret, but hope many people experience it at the same time. Thank you, Andrew, for this roller coaster of a camping weekend we will never forget and always cherish.

Private camping at its finest!

Andrew’s land was so quaint and peaceful. Plenty of room to pitch tents or for a pop up camper. Supplies nearby and the port a John was appreciated 😄 Also really appreciate the walkways as you can leave your camp space and go for a little walk around the area. Trails are well kept! We went with our 2 dogs and they loved being able to explore the property with us. We spent hours in front of the fire and just starring at all the stars. It’s amazing how much more of the sky you can see when you aren’t surrounded by populated towns. Thank you for letting us enjoy this special space, we hope to be back!

Nice quiet site. Our only company were distant coyotes and wild turkeys. Plenty of room for us to spread out with our teardrop and 5x7 side tent. Porta potty was clean and better than many pit toilets. Would recommend.

Tranquility

We enjoyed the tranquility of this spot. The only noise we heard all night were a few coyotes in the distance. Directions were clear and the porta potty was appreciated. Only negative was that there was not much wood cut for a fire, so we spent a fair amount of time dragging in and chopping wood from the property.
