Bakeracres is a 45 acre farm that raises hay, oats and pumkins. We also raise Belgian draft horses, that we use for field work and logging. The camp site is at the back of the farm in a wooded area near a pond. Great area to go biking with many miles of quiet roads in our area. Also we are about 4 miles from the Rock river, which is great for canoeing/kayaking. We are about 5 miles outside of Watertown , which has plenty of shopping, restaurants, and fun drinking establishments. We are less than an hour from Milwaukee, Madison, or Fon du Lac. NO same day bookings allowed.Campsite is located on the edge of a woods next to a pond. It is at the back of the 45 acres, providing privacy, and plenty of wildlife. Deer come to the pond to drink daily, along with Sandhill cranes, and turkeys. FREE FIREWOOD INCLUDED! A private field drive will get your vehicle right to campsite. If you are towing a pop-up type trailer, 4x4 is recommended. No same day bookings.

Classic, comfortable, maintained
Great hosts, great area to set up a tent, great cedar potty, great split wood for the ring fire pit, great variety of animals/sounds, and all with simple rules & instructions for an easy time out. You have water to swim in, a short trail to stroll on, a picnic table, shade trees on both east & west sides of the camp ground. You are down in a slight valley, so yes, if wet/muddy you will need an appropriate vehicle pending what you are carrying.

I have stayed at this site a few times and it never disappoints! Beautiful, private and has a wonderful swimming pond. The hosts are fantastic and communicate promptly. If you are looking to melt life's stress away, this is the perfect spot!

Awesome Site
Great site! Had to cut my visit short due to a family issue, but definitely plan on returning.
