Enjoy nearly 78 acres in the heart of Southwest Wisconsin's Driftless Region. In addition to the owner's "farmstead", there are approximately 30 acres of rolling hay fields and 35 acres of "old growth" forest with an abundance of wildlife and magnificent night skies (assuming no clouds). Welcome to rural Wisconsin!Pitch your tent in of our rural and secluded 78 acre property. Our 30 acre hayfield with gently rolling hills and breathtaking views abuts our enclosed (fenced) 35 acres of backwoods with trails (there are 2 "gated" entrances to the "old growth" diverse forest with lots of deer, turkey, fox, cayote, and other wildlife). Enjoy dark skies for amazing star gazing (assuming no clouds). No over crowded campground here; there's plenty of room to escape! Bring your own picnic table, porta potty bucket, and fire ring if desired. Camp is a 3-5 minute walk to the main house; you will park your car on the grass next to the owner's brown garage. We are in Southwest Wisconsin's Driftless Region in Richland County (20-45 minutes to Richland Center, Viroqua, Readstown, Gays Mills, Spring Green, Boscobel, the Wisconsin River, the Kickapoo River, and the Pine River) and close to many Amish communities. Availability of Laundry/Showers available at Readstown BP on Hwy 14 (approx 15 min away).
