Property located on end of 80 acre field away from any homes really secluded and on the river, also about 1/2 mile from DOOR County!!! Learn more about this land: This is a 5-acre parcel located along the Ahnapee river and only 1/2 mile from DOOR COUNTY which is great for canoe, kayak and fishing with a easterly exposure to see the sun rise over the river. River has salmon September, October and December with good fishing for pan fish, pickerel, trout at other times of the year.. Fire ring with wood provided for one night. Complete privacy with fantastic view of the river and no one living nearby. this site can accomodate a small camper or tent camping as its really secluded ......ahnapee trail for bike riding on other side of river for walking or riding a bike, also property has access to river for kayak or canoe, will meet camper in little town of Forestville to lead to site.........Also a port a potty has been added to property...….Just wanted to add a great place to bring your dog and let him run...….also fish are really biting this year have been getting some nice northern pike and the salmon start in early October...…..located just past 9470 Elder drive, you will pass a farm house with garage near road, has a painted flag on car hood, turn down two track gravel lane for about 500 yards or so and a deer stand turn left on gravel drive to site........I will usually meet you in Forestville to lead to site and show you around.....but if not available you will find it......also picnic table at site...added a large sail to help on sunny days for shade.....I have two kayaks and a boat, canoe and added a paddle boat for people to use when you are camping with life jackets.also added a badminton set this year....small turtle sand box for the little ones.....also a great place to bring your dog friends, they will love it!!! Also a special thankyou to all the campers that loaded up pictures of their stay last summer, they are all great!!!! I have.had the turn in to the campsite enlarged for this summer also.....I have had a large camper come to the site this summer as I have made the driveway to the campsite wider, the turn is easier to get out and I have trimmed alot of the branches........This is a 5-acre parcel located along the Ahnapee river and only 1/2 mile from DOOR COUNTY which is great for canoe, kayak and fishing with a easterly exposure to see the sun rise over the river. 5 acres on river near DOOR county
This is a wonderful find for anyone looking to have a more remote camping experience. The land was beautiful, great boating options, and very peaceful. We visited the nearby town of Aloma, and we had a great time! Craig was so kind to us and very helpful. Highly recommend this location, as we will definitely be coming back.

Spectacular sunsets over the river
Craig truly has the best Hipcamp and is the most thoughtful host. From the gorgeous sunsets, to the sunrises over the water and the beautiful star filled night sky, this site is rivaled by none. My friends and I loved using the row boat and canoe and had so much fun exploring Door County.

This place is amazing, we keep coming back every year and the family loves it. Each time we return, Craig has added new things and made it even more memorable. The kids especially enjoyed the badminton set this year. Just about the perfect view and setting for coffee in the morning. Love this place and plan to keep coming back!

Craig has a great plot of land. He goes above and beyond by adding a ton of amenities like boats, badminton, fire pit with wood, multiple tables with a view, and a well kept lawn. He’s super helpful and we had a great time

5 acres on river near DOOR county
Very well maintained site with a stunning view of the river and farms. Very tranquil, good bird watching. The site is slightly sloped but worked just fine for our small trailer. Craig provided ample leveling bricks… there was a fishing boat, several kayaks, a selection of cozy sitting areas, a badminton meadow with net, and a big fire pit with a supply of wood. Take Craig’s offer to guide you in, the access road entrance is easily missed.
