Private Campsites spaced well apart (30 to 50 m or more to your closest neighbour) on the 260 acre farm is our unique way to accommodate campers in lovely bush and treed surroundings. One hour North of Perth metro area means lovely warmer spots with less rain in the Winter and Spring. Each site is dedicated to one private group and separated by 30 to 100 meters. Named after the birds and wildlife mostly that occurs in the area. Choose a site next to trees or inside the bush or very close to toilet or a bit larger or more cosy and wind protected. One separate large site on 3 acres: EMU is specially for small or large camper groups or clubs with many tents, camp trailers or caravans. We also have a new extra large group ( 100+ people), fully self sufficient, very easy access site called KANGAROO ON A SEPARATE AREA more than one km from all other. Every other camp site is now within walking reach (along lovely cleared bush walkways) of a flushing toilet and a drinking water tap. IF you have a very low car, motorhome or prefer some facilities choose one of the 2wd sites: BLUE WREN, GREY FANTAIL, WILLY WAGTAIL, all easy accsess, walking distance from the farm's flushing toilets with hand wash basins. These sites also have optional 10 amp farm power and nearby water taps. Each has a fire place, tree stumps to sit on and shady trees. IF YOU ARE Semi SELF-CONTAINED you have the choice of many bush camp sites like SCARLET ROBIN, ECHIDNA, WEDGE TAIL EAGLE, BLACK COCKATOO and many others, away from the house area inside or alongside the bush, pine forest or York gum trees. All of them have many acres of bush and farmland around. All these bush sites have private fire places. Each one has a unique setting like open views, bush or wind protection. All PET FRIENDLY (well controlled, no anxious dogs or owners). Two Special COMPLETELY PRIVATE EXCLUSIVE sites on no-entry roads for FULLY selfcontained awd vans or campers are called GALAH and WOOD SWALLOW. One site, WARTHOG HIDE even has a undercover area. Magpie Bush Site
Perfect weekend getaway
The camp spot was exactly as the pictures showed. The toilet was close and perfect to use. The site was clean and private and sheltered from the wind as described. It was very quite and peaceful. Vic's communication was fast and thorough. Thanks for having us.

Camping amongst the sheep
The site was amazing and huge! Very suitable for our family group. If you have a dog, best watch them as the sheep poo is a buffet for them and it is around in abundance, but our pup soon learnt not to eat it as it made him vomit on the first night. The firewood bundle we bought could have been bigger for the $60, but no big deal really. If you have a van you will need to check clearance on some low hanging branches and don't stop as the track can be soft in some spots......as some of our group discovered haha All in all small minor things and we will definately be back as is was a damn great spot, with a clean flushing toilet!

Wedgetail Eagle
Great spot in amongst the trees. Night sky was brilliant. Birdlife good to seeTap water tasted fine. Sandy access road got a bit sketchy on the way out after others vehicles had been on it. We enjoyed our time and will be back. Thanks Vic

WARTHOG HIDE / VLAKVARK LAPA
We had a wonderful time staying at Jabez Warthog’s Hide. Vic was a friendly and helpful host. We couldn’t fault the spectacular site! Beautifully secluded and private, had excellent shelter and the running water and flushing toilet were a lovely addition to the site and very much appreciated. Definitely recommend! We will be back!

WOODSWALLOW PRIVATE BUSHCAMP
Won't return
Was disappointed upon arriving at our campsite. The site was only half usable as the rest had 3ft high Pattersons curse weed covering it. Was only surrounded by a dense surrounding of thorny parrot bush, the faded plastic oil containers saying private area did not deter other campers entering our site and also 3 sets of campers so close each could hear others conversations at night. Sign in sign out with a whole page of rules dedicated to the toilets which the owner will not clean, states it is the campers responsibility. First time we have ever left a paid camp ground a day early. With Hicamps fees and price for 4 nights (we stayed 3) at over $55.00 per night for no resources is exceptionally expensive. We viewed all the other camps on the farm, and in our minds the pictures illustrated, are very misleading! A long weekend away left feeling ripped off and disappointed.
