Lower Landing
Beautiful secluded spot :)
Lower Landing is a beautiful, secluded spot, with amazing views, lots of trees, bird life and nearby walks and forestry roads to explore the local natural environment, if you want to stay close to nature and away from the crowds. It’s also close enough to lovely local towns like Balingup , Nannup and Bridgetown for exploring the local history and some shopping or great little food places , if that’s your thing.
One can camp without any other campers nearby and enjoy the scenery all to yourself .it doesn’t feel like a campsite - more like your own little piece of a nature reserve .
Robert is a great host with very good communication and directions. Top bloke , very helpful, and he even left us a bin full of firewood , kindling and a lined bin for rubbish - very thoughtful and convenient.
The only downside was the family of pigs being kept just below the campsite , which although very cute and even very entertaining at times , did make some noise , with the added inconvenience of the smell and the few extra flies as a result. There is also a small shed and some farm equipment behind the campsite one must be aware of and the fact the owner needs access past the campsite from time to time , so it’s not entirely “secluded” .
Other than that, it really is a beautiful spot and in the short time we were there , we enjoyed some lovely sunsets , sunrises , mists in the valley , and even a full moonlit night ! :)

Stunning views, level site, quiet and peaceful. Friendly host, loved the pigs :). A great base for exploring the region. Thanks so much Robert.

Swag setup allowed me to wake up every morning to an amazing view, and there is plenty to do. We probably spent about 7 hours over the trip just watching the piglets play around. Robert himself is a cool and chill owner.
