This spot was fantastic! My friends and I rented both sites for the weekend. We loved being able to enjoy the fall foliage from such a beautiful location. We paddled by on the river, took full advantage of the fire pit and enjoyed sunsets on the floating dock. We will definitely be coming back!

Great for viewing the fall foliage!
Tent · Group trip
My friends and I spent a pristine fall weekend here. We booked both sites so we could have it all to ourselves and it was perfect! The bathroom was clean, firepit was nice and big, the access to water was soo great, (we used the kayaks and also brought our own paddle boards) and the sites had everything else we could have wanted or needed (potable water, wood, games, tables to use, fire poker, overhanging lights, etc). One of the neighbors even brought us chopped wood, since what was available was not chopped. My only complaint was that right across the river is a quarry and one of the trucks was working right up against the river until about 10pm on Friday and again Saturday morning until about 3pm. It was very loud and distracting. They did stop in the afternoon though and on Sunday they were still working, but far enough away that it wasn’t a bother. I imagine they aren’t always up on the river like that, but I do suggest ear plugs just in case.

Gorgeous Spot - Best Weekend!
Tent · Group trip
We had so much fun at Melissa's campsite. We were first time campers and couldn't have picked a better place to camp. Staying right on the river made it such a gorgeous spot! Melissa had everything there - blackstone grill to cook breakfast on and grill burgers, a firepit with chairs to sit around at night, yard games to play, etc. Everything is well maintained and you can tell they really care about their property. There's a lot to do close by as well - brewery, winery, hiking trails, downtown Harpers Ferry. It was in a great location. Melissa and her husband are also AWESOME! They were so nice!! We told them they could come hang out around the firepit with us and we had a blast with them! We laughed for hours. They're so funny and such cool people. We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful place along river
5 m campervan
Melissa’s place along the river has lots of amenities to make your trip more comfortable. We rented both sites to make it more private. There were neighbors who were friendly and quiet and we rarely saw them. Enjoyed being close to Harper’s Ferry. She has lots of furniture to lounge in. The lights were beautiful and helpful in the evening. Three fire pits. Flat spots for parking. Clean port a pot. Water hose. She is very helpful and responsive.

Great time!
Tent · Group trip
We had a absolute blast staying in this wonderful spot! The location on the river is great for floating, kayaking, or just enjoying the view. Being new to camping, having the added amenities (electricity and a porta potty!) made a huge, welcome, difference. If you enjoy the outdoors but don't want to 100% "rough it", this is for you!
