In 2008, we built the first cabin on this property. We really enjoyed hosting guests so we built two more cabins on the same property! Our latest addition is a glamping tent! We love people and find joy in the mission of giving weary travelers a comfortable place in nature to relax and rejuvenate. Life gets pretty taxing at times, we know! Spending time in nature with a loved one is the perfect medicine for a stressed soul. We have two listings available: Cozy Cottage by Monongahela Forest and What Camping Should Be! Please read each individual site description for more information on each site and their amenities.

What Camping Should Be! + WOW views
If you’re looking for the camping luxury but don’t want to bring all the supplies and pitch tent, this is your place! We enjoyed the lovely sunsets (magnificent view btw) & ended with a good campfire. Tons of milkweed growing in the fields, butterflies were everywhere it was magical! After a long day of hiking at Seneca, & Spruce Knob the shower bag was a luxury! A great place, wonderful time.

I cannot say how thankful I am to the owners of this property! They bring a first class operation from head to toe! We love this site, the area, and the people! Perfect place to unwind and relax! Unfortunately while we were in the mountains our car was giving us trouble (a car that is notoriously tough to work/ get parts for). I didn’t know what to do because our cell reception was a bit spotty at the time and I didn’t have AAA. But the owners were quick to respond and advised that I turn on WiFi calling to be able to make clear phone calls. Then they recommended their mechanic to fix my car, but I couldn’t get my car to his shop so the mechanic referred me to a towing company who showed up so fast! The mechanic ordered the part that day and then by noon the next day we were back on the road, a 24 hour turn around! This was nice because we were going out hiking and fishing every day so not having our car really forced us to stay out at the campsite and enjoy our surroundings which was something that we really needed, although we probably wouldn’t have had the pleasure of doing so unless our car broke down hahaha! Thank you so much Kent, Cynthia, and Marissa! Can’t wait to return!!

Amazing experience, beautiful surroundings/ views, perfect tent! Seriously nicer than some city apartments! 10/10 highly recommend! Can’t wait to get home and tell everyone! Tons of things to do in the area! Great wilderness retreat, wish I would have booked it for a longer stay! Also if you stay here I would have your activities planned out with directions printed ahead of time, or bring a map!
